About You and this Role: In this role, you will serve as a Project Engineer for Dow's SRO Site Leveraged Services Team located in Orange, TX.
Sabine River Operations is strategically located in the heart of the Dow Gulf Coast sites.
As a high value, large site in the Dow fleet, you will have opportunity to learn and deepen your skills across several different technologies and processes.
You will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and the Business Reliability teams to define and implement the proper operations and maintenance strategy for associated equipment and processes.
You will lead by influence while collaborating with people of various backgrounds and experiences to achieve common goals in a fast-paced organization.
The Project Engineer role is ideal for an experienced project leader that: has a history of successfully executing projects requiring minimum supervision.
is a proven team player adept at collaborating for superior results.
can clearly communicate verbally and in writing to internal and external partners.
is skilled at building a high level of trust with stakeholders, utilizing the highest standard of ethics and integrity.
The Details: As the Project Engineer, you will be ready to take on the following challenges and bring value to Dow as you: Drive successful project execution of capital and expense projects including Front End Loading, Detailed Design, Construction and Start up phases of the project cycles including: Providing clear planning and organization during design and construction.
Developing and communicating staffing plans necessary for project’s success.
Coordinating all design engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
Leading the project execution planning including contracting strategy development.
Analyzing project risks and develops mitigation plans.
Initiating, monitoring, and updating the project schedule and estimate.
Closely monitoring project cost and progress.
Managing change to established scope and baselines.
Identifying and taking corrective action to ensure the project goals for cycle-time, cost, and quality are met.
Delivering as built and operations/maintenance documentation to the facility.
Work on projects globally, including M&A and Divestitures, typically limited to single plant or business implementations.
Provide limited management of 3rd party contracts/Purchase Orders, as required.
Use advanced conceptual and practical knowledge in your own job discipline and broaden your personal capabilities through learning and development.
Demonstrate your commitment to a safe work environment by working safely and, complying with environmental, health and safety standards.
Prove your commitment to maintain ethical integrity in both successes and setbacks.
Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
A minimum of 3 years engineering, manufacturing, or related experience.

permanent residency (green card) process.
Role may require up to 15% travel.
Must be willing and able to meet all applicable requirements related to business travel (e.
