ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available for a *Cost Analyst *at our Orange, TX manufacturing site.
As a *Cost Analyst*, you will be an integral contributor to the North American Controlling team, primarily supporting the Site Controller with cost controlling and financial analysis for the synthetic rubber manufacturing site in Orange, Texas.
You will have the opportunity to perform product cost controlling and participate in budget, forecast and business planning while adhering to applicable accounting and reporting guidelines.
Duties include, but are not limited to: * Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial results * Highlight any trends that require attention or correction and work to implement improvements * Provide sound financial advice and subject matter expertise, effectively interpreting operating results, and safeguarding the assets of the organization through development and implementation of analysis, planning and control systems * Maintain, improve, and implement financial models and tools to contribute to managing and strengthening business performance in terms of costs and quantities * Support preparation of forecasts, budgets, and business plans to include alignment with stakeholders while ensuring timely inputs, calculations, and submissions * Support Site Controller in areas such as: product costing, plant utilization, OPEX (operational expenses), capital expenditures, assets, inventory, maintenance spending, cost center allocations, activity rates, utility costing, financial performance monitoring, and sideline business * Support closing for process orders, physical inventory, and cost centers * Support physical product inventory including tolled inventory reconciliations In order to accomplish this you will possess: * A Bachelors degree in a financial discipline * Advanced proficiency in Excel is required * Prior experience with SAP and Business Warehouse applications is preferred * Ability to interact effectively at all levels and with all locations within Global organization * Must possess good communication skills and ability to give direction to those outside of Finance * Ability to work toward completion of assigned tasks with minimal supervision * Exceptional time management capabilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail * Previous experience in general plant accounting functions, including budgeting and month-end closing * Well versed in IFRS, GAAP, and company policies * Analytical thinking ability and data consolidation skills _*As part of the application process, please attach a professional resume file to be viewed in the original format.
