As a DOT Driver you will be responsible for safely operating a collection truck while driving through neighborhoods and communities across the country.

Conduct pre-trip inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment
Displaying consistent attention to safety in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Collect delivery instructions from dispatcher, verifying instructions and routes
Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Reporting any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
Driving trucks to weigh stations to document weights and to comply with state regulations
Transports non-hazardous and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and company safety procedures
Handling various products, hazardous and non-hazardous materials
Performing industrial work and biohazard cleanups
Staging, profiling, and processing for disposal hazardous and non-hazardous waste
Assist in the removal of soil, debris and other materials, and cleaning up spill sites
Operate and clean equipment
Other duties as assigned

CDL "Class A" License with the ability to attain a Hazmat endorsement
2-5 years truck driving experience
HAZWOPER and Confined Space
TWIC Card preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times.
The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds.
